My Nearly-New-Year Resolution is to include a helpful hint in my random musings. Today's is for artists and is about mixing greys.
1. Cadmium orange + blue (not cobalt)
2. Ultramarine + Alazarin crimson + cadmium yellow OR yellow ochre
3. As 2 but use cerulean blue for a cooler grey
4. Cobalt + Light red for a warm grey
5. Ultramarine + burnt umber
6. Cerulean blue + permanent rose for a silvery grey
